Hello everyone,

Hoping that many of you will be at the World Heart Federation World Congress of Cardiology in Dubai next week: http://www.world-heart-federation.org/congress-and-events/world-congress-of-cardiology-scientific-sessions-2012/

I want to highlight the many interesting things that will be going on about RHD there.

Special session: The 2012 WHF guidelines for echocardiographic diagnosis of RHD - a practical application

Chair Bo Remenyi will lead a discussion with Anita Saxena, Liesl Zühlke and Nigel Wilson

RHD forum
This event, organized by Medtronic Foundation, provides a platform for sharing best practices in RHD prevention, control and treatment.

Finally, there will be an RHD survey at the booth (10 minutes), which gives you a chance to enter a raffle for a free entry to the WCC 2014. Dejuma Yadeta, the person who won the raffle last time (by filling out the survey online...he never went to Beijing!) will be at the Congress to prove that it does work!
