China: Support for more female research incentives
At the Women's Scientists in a Changing World conference in Beijing, the South African Minister of Science and Technology called for greater incentives to support a more prominent role for women in the scientific community. Speakers at the conference noted that although the cause for gender equality has made significant improvement in recent years, there is still much work to be done.
