US: Fish consumption promotes heart health

Among middle-aged and older men, those who consume fish regularly are less likely to acquire risk factors for heart disease than those who eat fish infrequently, according to a new study. The results of this study are in-line with a growing body of data suggesting omega-3 fatty acids, usually found in more "oily fish" like salmon, have a number of heart health benefits. For reasons unknown, the study found no correlation between fish consumption and health among women. Reuters.
